As part of an airport expansion project for the domestic terminal Grout McTavish was engaged to redesign Pier B to accommodate regional Q400 aircraft facilities while upgrading one of the airports original 1960’s vintage wing. Services provided included interior design, bridge replacement and apron side services. This future project will see the wholesale replacement of the wings interior while reorganizing the layout to accommodate 300 passengers in a common hold room area serving 5 gates that will feature a signature ceiling design evocative of the flowing nature of the adjacent Fraser river location while providing upgraded passenger amenities and guest check in facilities .
